Nwabiagya Rural Bank Limited is a community owned Financial Institution that was established

in August 1987 and incorporated under the Ghana Companies Code 1963 (Act 179), the Banking

Law PNDC Law 225 and the Banking Act 673 (2004). The bank has shown persistent growth

over the years and continues to meet all statutory requirements of the Bank of Ghana.

The Bank continues to be one of the best managed Rural Financial Institutions in the country as

adjudged by Bank of Ghana.

ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE

For proper decision making, coordination and controls, management of the Bank is

arranged in hierarchical order. At the apex of the decision making process is the Board

of Directors who offers the policy formulation and direction for implementation by management

team who supervises the operational activities of staff. For effective and efficient implementation

of various directives, various functions including Operations, Finance and Administration,

Credit and Marketing, Audit and Investigations take up, disseminate and monitor tasks to achieve goals.

The various units within the functions are organised so well that proper coordination exist to ensure efficiency.

With the introduction of computerisation and its deployment in our operations few years ago, major bottlenecks

have been overcome especially in our loan tracking methods. Though there are still challenges to be met.
